Based on a real-life jam session of rock ’n’ roll gods Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, Million Dollar Quartet reveals what happened at that historic meeting on December 4, 1956. With the holidays just around the corner, chart-topper Presley, a then unknown Lewis, rising star Cash and stalled up-and-comer Perkins find themselves assembled at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee, where their producer and manager Sam Phillips has business on his mind.
