Mamma Mia! tells the story of Sophie, a bride-to-be who dreams of having a perfect wedding on a Greek island. She wants her father to give her away, but Sophie has no idea who her real father is. Her mother, Donna, who was once the lead singer of the band "Donna and the Dynamos," refuses to talk about her past. Determined to find out, Sophie sends wedding invitations to three men—Bill, Sam, and Harry—whose names appear in Donna’s diary that Sophie has secretly read. This sets off a series of chaotic and humorous events.
