Based on the classic French fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast tells the story of a prince cursed to live as a fearsome beast, awaiting true love to break the spell. A beautiful young woman, who loves reading, ventures into the Beast's forbidden castle to rescue her father, who has become lost while fleeing from wolves. Her kindness and bravery eventually lead to true love, breaking the curse and transforming the Beast back into a prince.
